How to import a string

Copy the string here, then paste it into the import window of the addon it was made for.

Copy the string

Open a string and hit Copy string. Check which addon it's for: it's shown on every string.

Open the addon's import window

Each sequencer has its own import command. See below.

Paste, then bind a key

Paste with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on Mac), confirm, and set up a keybind for the sequence the way that addon does it.

Read before you import. A sequence runs macros on your keybind. Check the description and comments, prefer creators you trust, and report anything that looks wrong.

Addon by addon

GSE

  1. Type /gse to open GSE.
  2. Choose Import (on the GSE menu, or in the sequence editor's list).
  3. Paste the string (Ctrl+V) and confirm.

GRIP-EMS

  1. Type /gems import (or /gripems import) to open the import window.
  2. Paste the string and confirm.
  3. GRIP-EMS can also import GSE strings (!GSE3!).

HatedSQ - Macro Sequencer

  1. Type /hsq import (or /hatedsq import).
  2. Paste the string and confirm.
  3. HatedSQ can also import GSE strings (!GSE3!).

Sharing your own

Export the sequence from your addon, then share it on The Fence: paste the string and pick the addon, game version, class and spec. When you improve it later, use Post an update on your string, and everyone who saved it gets notified.

Protected GSE strings (the encrypted !GSE3!+ copies from gse.tools) are subscriber content and can't be shared here.
