Sharing strings

• Share what's yours, or what you have the creator's permission to share. If you've adapted someone else's work, credit them in the description.
• No malicious code. Strings that harm accounts, spam chat, break the game's terms of service or hide what they do will be removed and the uploader banned.
• Describe it honestly. Say what it does, which addon and version it's for, and what else it needs (fonts, media, other addons).
• Update rather than re-upload. Use Post an update so people keep the history and get notified.
• No paid content resold. Don't upload strings that creators sell or keep behind a paywall.

Comments

• Be constructive. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome; personal attacks aren't.
• No spam, advertising, harassment, hate speech or explicit content.
• Keep it about the string. Use the Report button instead of arguing.

Moderation

Moderators can hide or remove strings and comments, and suspend accounts that break these rules. Serious or repeated problems lead to a permanent ban. If you think we got something wrong, email support@elfy.au.

Takedowns

If your work was posted without permission, use Report → Reposted without permission on the string, or email us. We'll act quickly.
